Permanent / 16 hours per week (9:00am until 5:00pm on Tuesday's and Wednesday's) / Barrow-In-Furness, Cumbria
You will be required to work with an adult with acquired brain injury in his home and the community. He has a larger-than-life personality and loves to be active in the community. He enjoys going to the gym and has a lot of involvement in the arts including playing the banjo.
This post would ideally suit someone with drive and a creative outlook, an open-minded approach and good sense of humour.
Your duties will include supporting our client with social and leisure activities such as going to the gym, attending volunteering arrangements, supporting with therapy programmes and bringing positive ideas to help him grow and live independently. Session days are subject to change with notice, to accommodate Saturday activities.
