Rehabilitation Support Companion, CB444

Permanent / 16 Hours a week. Shift Pattern: Flexible: Days, Afternoons, Occasional Weekends. / Keswick, Cumbria

You will be required to work with our 24year old client with Acquired Brain Injury. He was involved in an incident when he was 12 years of age and although he is very independent in most areas, he requires support to keep him focussed on some aspects of daily living. This post would suit an active lover of the outdoors. You will assist our young client to access the community and engage in activities of interest to him. A sense of humour would be essential and someone who is able to go on long walks. Our client has almost completed all the Wainwright walks and is ready for more challenging hikes. He also doesn’t mind the slower pace of life and enjoys the occasional cuppa and cake!

The salary for this role is £14.00 per hour depending on experience.

Your duties will include supporting our client to access the community and engage in social and leisure activities, following therapy programs, maintaining and completing household duties, budgeting skills and attending appointments.
