We are recruiting a Team Leader to support one of our clients following an acquired brain injury.
The salary for the role is up to £17.50 per hour, with additional weekend enhancements.
Shifts include mornings, evenings, sleeping nights and weekends.
Are you who we are looking for? Here is a message from our client:
I am 65 years young and looking for a team leader to manage my existing team – I don’t care what your age or orientation is, but I would prefer a female with excellent communication skills, a great sense of humour, kind, honest, and happy to support me getting out and about and completing my therapies. I need support with personal care and all aspects of daily living. I use a wheelchair to get around and I have my own wheelchair accessible van so we can go out on trips. I enjoy a coffee and a chat, a look round the shops and have an interest in travel; this used to be my hobby and I loved to holiday abroad. Now I like to reminisce and tell stories of my travels and hear about yours.
I am looking for a Team leader to work on shift as part of my team but also to co-ordinate the rota, supervise and manage my day-to-day support, make sure I am well looked after, and that the team are working together.
I live alone in my beautiful bungalow, and I have two grown up daughters who visit often and are very important to me. If you are interested in joining me, please apply.
Wicked sense of humour, love of a coffee and a chat essential!”
Your duties will include co-ordinating the rota to ensure cover is in place at all times, ensuring the smooth running of the team and that everybody knows what they are doing. You will work on shift for the majority of your hours supporting with personal care, social and leisure activities and rehabilitation activities, whilst also having some time to work off shift to complete the rotas and supervision of the rest of the team.
